Even though it’s indoors I love Space Mountain at night, especially in Disneyland where the queue is outside.
I've still never been on Everest at night which is frustrating. I really wish they'd commit to staying open late
That’s what they’ve always said. Several years ago, they started keeping the park open late more regularly for their nighttime show and a projection show on the tree of life. They haven’t really gone back to nighttime hours since the pandemic. I think they even got a special lighting rig for the safari because of the extended hours and it mimicked an African sunset.
One of the biggest drawing points for Pandora was supposed to be the bioluminescent lighting at night, yet the park is rarely open late enough to really see that either
Oh yeah! Pandora and Everest at night are SUPER rad. We did a vacation package in 2018 that included a private rivers of light show for like 100 people and they have Everest and Pandora open for us at night. Good call.
Very excited that the Epcot monorail service is back. That's going to make our trip in August so much easier since we're staying at the Contemporary.
My 7 AM direct flight to Orlando in Sept just changed to a flight with a layover in Chicago, costing us an additional 3 hours of travel for no reason. Thanks Southwest...
Just got back from Universal. Velocicoaster is the real deal. Totally saw the light on the top hat and thought I was going in the lake on the roll. We stayed at Royal Pacific and wouldn’t go without staying premium. I’d be shocked if Express Pass exists in the same manner after Epic Universe opens. The waits were never longer than 15 minutes. The new Hagrids virtual line works pretty well. Only problem is them bumping up your time up once you are given one.
Still don't have HHN tickets, but I did book the morning Behind the Screams 6-house tour. Always wanted to do one of them.
The only other non-stop flight isn't until 2PM so I'm just going to suck it up and take the long flight in the morning. Ugh
Mine originally was 840 getting there at like 1030, now I leave at 630A and land around 830. Not looking forward to getting up that early, but more time to do stuff before HHN Wednesday night! What days are you going again? I'll be there Wed Sept 15 - Sun Sept 19. Right now plan is Wed- HHN at night Thurs- Disney HS day / HHN night Fri- Uni IOA day / HHN night Sat- Uni US (scream tour) / HHN night / Seaworld Haunt night Sun- fly back
We're going from 9/17 - 9/25. Haven't been in three years so we're staying a full week. We'll be at WDW for the most part but are doing Universal/IOA/HHN on 9/22
Damn, Happily Ever After is being retired at Magic Kingdom after only four years, to be replaced by a new show for the 50th. RIP
