Checking on Google, nobody else knows the reason for that either, other than the men just going crazy
How’s the book? I’ve read some of his other stuff and the insane amount of filler and mundane detail is a chore but I do want more of this
Its been a couple years since I've read it and I've never read anything else by him but it sounds like you already have an idea what its like. That being said I love the subject matter so it never felt like a slog. I thought the party scene in the tent was much more intense in the book.
My biggest fear after watching the show is he spends like 200+ pages back in England and the politics of the navy, their wives and slowly building the rescue missions. Is there a lot of that?
I honestly can’t stop thinking about this so finally bought the book excited to start it hope it makes me feel cold during the summer
Just finished ep7.....WHAT THE FUCK This show is seriously so good, and weird I love it. I remeber one of those reviews copied on the front page compared it to Alien, and I think that’s p spot on.
Renewed for a second season, though it's a whole new team doing it. 'The Terror' Renewed for World War II-Themed Second Season at AMC
I finished the book today, absolutely loved it. Didn't really drag or lose me like Simmon's other book, Drood, did. So many scenes I wish made it to the show Tuunbaq throat singing with Lad Silence was one of the more surreal things I've read. Tuunbaq getting onto Erebus and the ensuing fire was intense. Having Magnus as Hickey's right hand man makes his rise to power sooo much more believable. I prefer the way Goodsir died in the show more than the book though. And just the way Tuunbaq was portrayed in the book was sooo much cooler than the show. I love that it would get up and run on two legs and disappear and reappear.
Totally reminded me. I finished this two weeks ago, and still can’t stop thinking about that last episode. This show was too good. Interesting to see there’s gonna be a second season
I’m definitely gona give it a shot, but it just feels weird to call it the Terror. You’re adapting a novel, don’t use the same title for a completely different story.
they hooked me at WWII but i am easy fishing. either way they earned another 10 hour investment from me
