all 10 eps are on amazon video, right? i've watched the first five and i love it. dude who plays goodsir is my favorite
I'm on AMC's schedule so just finished episode 6, I LOVE this show but the monster design/effects are fucking terrible. It's like Playstation 2 graphics
Yeah I was hoping it would just be little glimpses throughout and for the first few episodes it was. But then it chased that dude up the mast and it’s like a video game cutscene.
like those bears in Coke commercials around the holidays look better shoulda just kept it vague, but we'll see. I do really love this though
The book is on sale for 3 dollars today only on Kindle if anyone wants https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PAAH3A/?tag=absolutepunk-20
The book is great if you really want to read about life on a 19th century sailing ship in great detail.
Yeah, I've only read one of Simmons' books (Drood) but he seems to really enjoy spending hundreds of pages on mundane details haha
I finished watching this last night. Was this only designed to be a single season 10-part show? because i think it all wrapped up nicely. Goodsir was such a bad ass in the end
I liked how it wrapped up like that as well; such a crazy way to go about doing it that way. Yeah as far as I know it's only a 1-season thing
I really want to talk about this but I still have two more episodes to go. But episode 8 is fucking nuts I still hate the monster design/effects but everything else is fucking incredible
Is this show as great as the AV Club giving every episode an A suggests? Trying to decide whether to start.
