So hyped. Finally will’d it into existence.
That tattooer I posted a while back (anotheryearofdisaster) is coming back through ABQ in Nov..
Got my deposit in for the 12th at noon.
Since I finished both arms, I shall now embark on my legs. Stoked.

 

Just got my knee done. Looks sick as hell, but man it was rough.

 

Imgur never works for me anymore. How do I get my attachments to look like @jkauf (full size), and not like @brokenparachute (where its smaller unless you click).

 

I attach an image from my camera roll and before posting, it gives an option to upload as a thumbnail or full image.

 

My son’s first drawing of a character. When he was like 4 or 5 he drew “Franken” (Frankenstein). I always loved it and still have the original drawing. Still fresh.

Knee as bad as they say?

 

Yeah, it was pretty painful. I will agree that back of the knee was significantly worse though.

I'd assume the knee feels relatively like the elbow, no?

Having both arms fully done, a chest, side and back piece. I will always say my foot hurt the most out of all and was the shortest in length.. I was sweating bullets. I've never tapped out, but I was really fucking close on that 20 min tattoo... then I went back and got it touched up like an idiot haha.

 

Yeah the feet suck too but I got mine like 14 years ago so I don’t remember how badly. I don’t have anything on my sides or back but yeah elbow sucks too.

 

Foot had me wincing but I may have actually handled it better than my calf or chest. That's also likely due to the size of my calf piece and the heavy-handedness of the artist doing my chest, though

 

Anyone have a thigh/quad piece? How was that? I feel like it won't be too bad, but I'm known to be wrong.

I only have one and it's on my thigh. I thought it was perfectly fine. It seemed like it'd be the place that hurt the least. The closer he got to my knee the more sensitive it was, but mostly because I have a scar there that I'm really weird about people getting close to or touching.

 

thigh was super chill.

inspiration/reference for what I’m thinking, let’s see how he’ll work with it. Mainly the statue

 

Ran out of time today, but I was actually ready to tap so I welcomed it; got about an hour left for final details and maybe a little background

EDIT: Not sure why I can’t attach them like I normally do but oh well
