Good stuff in the 2 posts above (I know down close to the wrist that hurt!). The little devil match book I posted was my first one visible in a t shirt (got my leg done all the way around), but I'm starting my first big one on Sunday. I'm going to try to power through 1 session and have it be complete - doing the outside of the arm (won't quite be a whole half sleeve, but pretty close). I'm excited. Better late than never for me, 36 and getting my first big visible tattoo and got 4 of my 8 in the last year, but fuck it. I'm at that perfect point in life where I have the money for it and the career stability that I just don't care what other people think. SORRY MOM!
Have a consultation for a cover up next week. Already been a couple of years since my last, so excited not only get a couple of cover ups but also to expand on these and make them bigger pieces.
Super hard to get a good pic by myself and it's still super fresh so I'll get a better pic when healed (and have someone else take it), but my half sleeve I got yesterday. It's based on my favorite book series of all time 'Realm of The Elderlings' by Robin Hobb so the buck, the wolf, the bee, and the Fool tarot card represent 4 of the main characters and the rest (including the castle) are just loose visuals and fillers. Super happy with it. Third tattoo by the guy that did it and always a great experience that I'm happy with.
A lot of personal layers, one being my chronic illness, but… https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baldwin_IV_of_Jerusalem
I’m so dumb. Just did my ditch and elbow ONLY, back to back. Goddam I’m sore, spiciest session I’ve ever had and it’s not close. Didn’t finish the back so no pic yet.
