Folks, can I get an honest opinion in here? I've been thinking of getting my avatar (Kurt vonnegut doodle) as a tattoo for a while and I've finally settled on placement, but my wife thinks it looks ugly. Is she right or shall I commit? This is the tattoo on someone else:
The general consensus im getting from other friends with tattoos is that it's a bit shit haha. The more positive comments have suggested its "ugly in a good way". Think im heading back to the drawing board lol.
I don't think it's a bad idea at all just the line work on the tattoo on the person in that pic is not great
Agreed, my guy would do a far better job haha. I dunno, I'm torn. I'd love a vonnegut doodle, there's loads in his books that would translate well as tattoos, but none that I like quite as much as that one.
I have lyrics basically scribbled on my arm and that handwriting/line work is part of the charm, but I agree here. Commit if you love the piece, just find someone who does good work.
