I dunno, just approaching the whole thing. I’ve never had issues before so it’s not like I was careless with the healing process, but I also don’t think he fucked up at all. It was just harder on my body than usual
I mean I've never called beforehand for a touch up but I guess it all depends on how convoluted it would be for them. as far as tipping is concerned: I usually tip 10-20 depending on the circumstance. touch ups should be free too so you'll be fine, if you have any sort of anxiety about it, I'd just shoot the artist a text or email before you go in
I think it is across the board, just wanted to give him as much info as I could since he's never had one
I'm just confused cuz every tattoo I've ever received the artist always mentioned free touchups. Didn't know that that's not always the case. Crazy if not
lol the fact that they always do mention that is the only reason I would have to believe that there are in fact places that charge for touch ups tbh
I feel like I need to unfollow all the tattoo artists on instagram during this very broke period of my life
If I got another tattoo it would likely have font and I feel like choosing a good font is like 99% of the battle
Idek but showering after my tattoo was painful AF and worse than getting the actual tattoo and I almost passed out so the thought is enough for me to never get another or if I do, not put it under direct water for like 1000 days
did a little hand-poked pine tree on my thumb this week. went a little thick and it still kinda looks like a sharpie drawing, hah.
iirc shower was ok once the bandage is off, since you wash it with unscented soap as routine care anyway? Submerging in like a pool tho takes weeks.
Yeah for some reason I remember my shop advising two weeks before letting water hit it directly, but I let it run over in the shower almost immediately and probably give in before two weeks is up
