I know a lot of people assume the same and would wait but I don’t wanna wait haha also I was just explaining to my ex how ideally I’d be friends with an artist to the level of them coming to my house and meeting my cat to base it off of instead of just pictures. Obviously he would need to be alive for that lol

Got matching tattoos with my wife at the beginning of the year. Our favorite band is The Dangerous Summer and "No One's Gonna Need You More" holds a lot of importance to us, so it's fitting and we're both in love with the piece. Done at Elm Street Tattoo in Dallas, TX.

completely cover up with black. i have a lot of tattoos of a band that should not be named and the others don't really mean anything to me anymore. kind of looking at it as a fresh start / clean slate.

that's my worry. i don't care so much about the time, but the money. and since it's covering things i've already paid for it kind of feels like a double insult to my wallet haha. but, i may eventually have something new put over it with orange / yellow or white ink - if i find something worthwhile.

Awesome. I like getting to know people I find out are from Texas. I'm currently in Houston but grew up in a small town about 1.5 hours West of DFW so I'm pretty familiar.

That tattoo work looks good though, I like it!

 

My cat passed in October and I've been waiting to get a memorial piece done ever since. I drew up something really simple, black and white, her with her single fang and a crown surrounded by "Long Live the Queen"

 

Your Twin Peaks tattoo is ridiculous btw!!!!!!!! I got to meet Kyle Maclachlan in NYC last year when he was doing a meet-and-greet promoting his wine brand at Bottlerocket. He was so sweet and even took the time to draw a bunch of Twin Peaks-related things in the book I asked him to sign.

 

Already starting to think about my next one. I'm leaning towards a music related one
