I like the second one better as well. However, I am a bigger fan of the handwritten idea above also... IMO, the first font seems too formal for the type of "sketch" drawing the main art is. Good luck though, badass idea.
Gettin some flash work done this week. I'm typically not into traditional at all but the dude who did the cat on my forearm has a really dope take on the traditional style and I'm itching for some more so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My most recent piece and the start of my right arm sleeve. Located on my forearm. Have I mentioned I love my artist?
So question. Those of you with multiple tattoos. Do you go to the same person? Or a new one every time? Just curious. All but one of my tattoos is by the same guy. I've thought about going to others, but we really have a good relationship. Going on 6 or so years. I also love his style and think he's pretty good. If you do go to multiple, any reason why to or not to!?
2 from 1 and 1 from another. But I plan on seeing multiple artists over the years depending on what I want
A couple of my earlier ones were from different people and then I relocated and since then pretty much every single one is done by only one of two people (and they're a couple). I'm headed in today to get some free touch ups by them as it happens, might come out with a new one whilst there if we have time.
I have 6 from 4 artists, no real reason one way or another, and one of them I got out of state (the zombie hand I posted recently).
I've had most of mine done by the same person, but my next one will not be done by him. It just depends on the type of tattoo style and what the artists excel in.
Next question. Where would you say your most painful tattoo you've gotten is? Mine is definitely the top of my foot. Holy hell.
I posted this a few weeks ago right after I got it in the Paramore thread( lyrics from the song "Now" by Paramore), but I am in love with it so I will post it here too.
My chest, mainly closer to the armpit area haha. My feet weren't too terrible pain wise, but my feet have super weird nerve damage, so that was the worst part because they would sporadically move haha.
Dude, you're lucky. I've sat for four hours and never needed or wanted to tap out. My foot was a flash snake which I wanna post in here. Took 35/40 min and I was sweating bullets. I guess my feet are sensitive cause never again. So painful. Then my dumbass went in to a touch up ha.
Oh that's cool! Yeah I mean, I may have just been super distracted from the pain by the fact that my feet were so twitchy haha. I had both feet done at the same time for about 2 hours and even though the pain at the time didn't bug me, holy hell it was the worst healing process I have ever had haha.
My first tattoo I went to this local guy that everyone likes but he charged kind of a lot and at the time I liked it but now I'm not crazy about it. The rest of mine were done by a couple. She did both my feet and 2 other ones and he did most of the bigger stuff on my arms and a few on my legs. They are the best and I'm not sure if I'll go elsewhere unless it's for a style they don't do. Most painful was either my foot or right around the elbow/knee. I have one that kinda touches the bottom or me knee and that was so painful I'm not sure how anyone gets their entire knee done.
How long have you had this? Does it still look good? My worst is my ribs. Also have 5(4 sessions) with 3 separate artists
I got that one, I think 2 years ago now. Yeah. Still looks brand new. Probably cause it never sees the sun lol and cause it's just hard black. I hear ribs a lot, but mine wasn't too bad actually. Back sucked and foot
