Also have most of my right arm done with random things and my left calf. Still trying to figure out what other random things I can put on my right arm to cover the whole thing

 

getting a tattoo of my cat on tuesday. I'm p excited.

 

What kind of cat? Also what's it's name?

 

His name is Rocky but in his old age we've nicknamed him Wocky Wow, not really sure how it came about but it just stuck haha. I've had him for over 13 years now and he's a total badass. He's knocked on death's door countless times but he always comes back. The whole neighborhood knows him cause he follows people when they walk their dogs. My family has always joked that he's secretly a mob boss or a pimp and I'm gonna have my tattoo play into that idea, should be fun.

EDIT: He's like, weirdly smart. One of my sisters used to be pretty mean to him and I swear he would go up into her room and piss in her shoes, no joke

My friends got me a gift certificate for a tattoo as a bday gift
Now I just have to decide which of my many half ideas to get

Got this a few months ago. All the guys on my dad's side of the family (and my brothers) have some variation of it to represent a family tree.

 

Man. I forgot how much the healing process sucks haha

 

That point where it just itches like crazy is the worst!

 

Hoping to get something this Saturday as part of a local "Toys for Tats" drive. I think a Christmas tattoo would complement my recent Halloween addition nicely haha

 

Getting my gf a tattoo gift certificate for Christmas kind of itching to get another one myself

Anybody else get annoyed when people ask you what your tattoos mean? As if they have to mean anything at all. I had someone recently ask me what mine mean and I was just like, "Uhhhh, well, I like The Shining a lot and I thought my cat would look cool in a fedora." I've actually had someone get kind of upset when I told them my tattoos have no special meaning haha.

Right, like, nothing I have is too personal but I've thought about getting one for my dad who passed away and I can imagine someone asking, me responding, and them just being like.......oh. haha

 

All the damn time! Haha

Then again I DO have Jesus riding a Dinosaur so I guess I should have expected that

 

Yep exactly haha. Mine has a pretty personal/somewhat dark meaning and while I don't mind talking about it, it's not always a nice conversation starter, especially with new people or more distant acquantiances.
