So awesome! I'm definitely the type that would get some random ass tattoos just cuz(obviously!) but this is great!

 

Thinking about getting rubix cube tattoo, taking the idea from the dude in Bowling for Soup lol

 

I need some help. I'm trying to perfect the sketch of my next tattoo so I can maybe get it at the end of the month. Anyone good with drawing? I can't make these flames as simple as I want. :/

 

Why not just the one flame without the upside down V's?

Also care to share the meaning?

 

Thought about that... I wasn't sure how obvious it would be as a flame. I guess I would know, though. Idk.

Meaning comes from Copeland's "I'm a Sucker for a Kind Word". The flame represents all of the bullshit I've been dealing with for at least the past year with my health, weight loss, mental issues, and the stairs are me trying to climb out.

With that song being (to me, at least) all about trying to get away from your anxiety/depression and trying to get through your own issues and just trying to escape insomnia and such, it's basically my life.

 

I love how simple the design is but conveys so much.

I have kind of a plan for my future tattoos now - I want to tell a story with each of them, and I want them to all be simple designs with the stick figure in situations depicting songs that mean a lot to me. I think it'll end up being super awesome. I have another in mind for Jack's Mannequin's "Swim", and I'm super hyped to get that one in the future too.

 

This sounds super cool, can't wait for you to share them with the thread hah! I imagine the cost for them would be pretty good as well considering it's b/w and not super elaborate and whatnot

The line work was the most painful, the shading has not been that painful.

That's always the worst for sure! Bigger gauge needle that digs deeper. Looks great though!

 

So far I have had 15-17 hours done on this piece.

 

Well, that's me booked in for 2 sessions on my batman sleeve in December. Had the 30th booked to get batman done but I'm seeing Yellowcard in Glasgow on the 12th December and staying through there so booked another session to get Harley Quinn done on the 13th, after that I think I'll have one more session and my sleeve will be finished. Looking forward to it!

 

If I was to get a tattoo, i'd probably get the Ø symbol

 

I have an Underoath tattoo that looks like dogshit and I hate it. Plan to get it covered up someday

 

I'm going to see underoath on their uk tour next year. I'd be tempted to get that Ø tattooed aswell to be fair, if you don't mind me asking, why do you not like your Ø tattoo?

 

Mainly it's because it looks so bad but also I'm not really a fan anymore and haven't listened to them in years. It isn't of their symbol though it's the 777 circle thing from the cover of the DVD.

 

Oh right. I'm still a massive fan and when I saw that they are playing my two favourite albums of theirs in full I had to get tickets. I could see me getting it tattooed after I see them but then again I want to get other tattoos aswell

 

Oh an Underoath reunion? Does this mean new album?? Disambiguation is okay... but not so memorable. Love that Aaron is back, his voice was always great with UO.
