I have two birds. I want more. Bird tats rule. Anyone know a good artist in Vegas? I’m gonna be there for a few days in two weeks and I try to get a tattoo in every city I visit. I want to see if someone can squeeze me in even for some flash.
My wife and I just got these done... we went into a local shop as they had Easter / 420 flash so we were looking for a quick cheap piece each and ended up spending far too much money and time there, but pretty happy in the end. Same artist did both which is wild as I think she did a great job in both styles. Never gotten a 'traditional bold' tattoo before and it makes my oldest tattoo next to it of 15 years look like ass. It's already started to heal and soften up though a little (looked like a sticker at first). I think my plan going forward is going to be more flash type stuff vs waiting forever between tattoos for a custom idea. Moving away from the 'every tattoo has to be meaningful' camp.
I haven’t been tattooed in a long time and I’m pretty heavily tattooed. This thread gives me the itch
Just checked out their artists. Definitely my vibe. I'm going to book one for the weekend. Thanks so much!
If anyone is in Nashville ever, get tattooed by one of my best friends and life long tattoo artist @zanependergast.tattoo
I have a super tight window. I'm leaving work Friday at 2pm and my flight is 5pm. Landing in Vegas around 7:30pm local. I'm flying back home Sunday night at 10pm. I'll squeeze it in somewhere.
Frog was pretty flexible with my wife and I when we’re there. We messaged him on insta and it was easy. Not sure how Charles works.
Am I crazy, or do I remember reading somewhere that it's not recommended to fly after getting tattooed due to cabin pressure?
I don't want to discount someone's experience or minimize the potential science behind it, but I've never really thought too much about that. I generally just let them heal on their own natural course. I am also not getting a big back piece done. I am doing more flash and palm size work, so maybe it's different. I would also add that the quality of the tattooer and the equipment they use probably play a part too. But I subscribe to the idea of if you get good work done, it will eventually heal the way it should.
Yeah, I'm not even agreeing that you shouldn't, just kind of a weird piece of advice I seem to have stored in the back of my brain and couldn't remember if it was legitimate or not.
I don’t think i’ve ever posted on this thread, so here’s my current suite. pictured: ivysaur from pokemon, futures by jimmy eat world, and the magnet warriors from yugioh
