Wonderful

 

There aren't too many musicians who are more important to me. So stoked.

 

I know Bon Iver is!

 

I heard Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, and The Tallest Man On Earth all for the first time within the span of a few months over a decade ago. Life changing, and probably my 3 favorite bands/artists ever.

 

Really hope "Talk Pyramids" is on this record. One of my favorite things he's done in years.

 

Oh hell yeah!

Is it just me, or is his voice getting worse? This one is borderline listenable for me

 

Burden of Tomorrow is one of the best songs of the decade. That is all.

 

Here for this, although I admit his last couple albums didn't stick with me as much as Shallow Grave and Wild Hunt.

Between Tallest Man, the National, Vampire Weekend, and the Mountain Goats, 2019 is really coming out swinging with the indie stalwarts.

 

I’m sure the lyrics are cool but wow musically that is TMOE-by-numbers

 

I like it quite a bit, especially that last minute. The other track is better though.

This first track is pretty splendid.

 

"There's a Girl" is gorgeous omg

 

"I'm a Stranger Now" is vintage Kristian. This is so good. Really hits its stride in the second half.

I for one really enjoyed the evolution shown on the last LP

 

Jammed it today and remembered how much I loved it. This album is like a more subdued version of that style.

 

It’s pretty good.
