Totally forgot Kalax released his latest album recently

 

i've heard that the majority of this (musically and visually) is AI-generated or assisted, and people are rightfully giving him shit for it (which he's ignoring)

 

I've listened through like 80% of it so far, and its kinda just whatever. Nothing that inspiring. I thought the AI-talk was around just the artwork itself (which looks shit - The Midnight unfortunately using AI art too), but if he's used AI for the music as well, that's pretty low.

The Syndicate stuff; at least it all appears AI-generated to me

 

i originally thought so too, but it looks like it's done by a visual artist named AG Hooker, who seems to use a variety of 3D modeling softwares according to his site, none of them AI-based. i could be wrong (and i'm not a huge fan of the art myself), but i think it's legit
