So...The Apology Tour's debut album released today and its very good. Highly suggest you check it out if you miss The Swellers. It has classic Nick vocal melodies. Imagine The Swellers meets Weezer, meets grunge, meets super low guitar tuning. It works for them.

My first spin of The Apology Tour and I thought it was alright. It's missing that certain intensity from Nick's vocals, but I understand it's a different style/vibe they're going for.

 

There something about fall and this band that just goes so well together, proper missing them right now.

Yeah, I've only ever been able to snag ROOPTG and TLUCD. Have kept eyes peeled for the others for years and have never come across any of them :(

Also I've outgrown all my Swellers merch and not being able to find any online is a travesty

 

I did find a sealed Good For Me on eBay for like $20 so that’s as far as I go back with vinyl for them.

 

Worst mistake of my life: let a friend borrow my ups and downsizing hoodie and she lost it and I’ll never have it again. It was the coolest hoodie.

I’m still mad because when my ex moved out of our apartment he stole one of my variants of U&D and I doubt I’ll ever be able to replace it.

 

That's probably the only thing I have that kind of fits me, but it barely does haha I check depop almost daily for anything

 

My rainbow Michigan shirt is developing a hole and I’m so upset. I wonder if Nick or
Jono have any of it left in their basement or whatever.

I think Skoots and Vehicle City Blues are two of the most underrated songs in their discography. Thoughts?

Skoots is my personal favorite. Hits hard for me.

 

I had a real soft logo tee of theirs but I lost weight and didn’t bother to keep it. Regrets

 

It’s hard for me to say- my entire Swellers experience was mostly local shows, so they almost always played Skoots. A thing that always confused me was at the beginning of the GFM tour cycle, they always played “nothing more to me” and then it was dropped and NEVER played again.

Always eternally grateful for them playing “Montreal screwjob” for me and my friends.
