Montreal Screwjob, Welcome Back Riders, Not Safe to Drink, What's at Stake. Way too many to list. God I hope they're working on something new. They sort of teased it recently. They were all back together.
Probably Feet First for me. Or something off running out of places to go, I think that’s my favorite release of theirs.
Montreal Screwjob is super underrated. Best I Ever Had is definitely their best even if its cliche 2009, Skoots, Running Out of Places To Go all top tier
Not Safe to Drink is unreal. A reunion might mean they finally that play that song live, it's a like a prog song with all its different sections, so rad.
That one-two punch of "Runaways" and "Inside My Head" on Good for Me, though...fuckin' A. Always gets me pumped. Hope they're reuniting cuz I got into them when it was too late!
Lots of hopium happening but would be amazing for them to do anything together again. I saw them live many times but I only got into them later so only one of those times counted. It would be cool for new music or a show or two, literally anything.
I know Nick has a family and runs an effects pedal business currently. Jono is the VP of a marketing company and he owns a coffee business. Anto is still in Canada afaik and I have no idea what Ryan is up to. I don't need lots of touring, just some grown up "dad punk" songs from Nick. The Dieners are super busy but a surprise album drop would be insane.
Also I’m pretty sure Nick dropped casually that his vocals aren’t great anymore after decades of singing/touring so idk how plausible it is they play live outside of some one-off shows (fest? I know Jono is playing with 84 tigers at fest).
At this point anyone that really wants to see The Swellers reunite probably would be in the know and not care if Nick sounded bad. I feel the same way about Jimmy if Polar Bear Club ever did something again
I think it’s more about his discomfort in singing physically now and less about how it’ll be perceived.
