we put that out on the label I worked for and I cannot overstate how many of those we had lying around all the time. how is it not available anymore
If @personalmaps had not hooked me up years ago I most certainly would have overpaid for it by now from Discogs
Pretty on par for them as a band though; under appreciated when they were around and beloved and in demand now.
I bought my copy (purple “rust”) off Discogs around Christmas 2023 for $75. It’s only been sold three times since then for that variant and maybe six total since.
Ups and Downsizing on vinyl was so difficult to find on the resale market even 10 years ago. I had the hardest time finding the Rust & Dirt variants back when I variant collected The Swellers entire discography.
I'm happy the sale I made of clear variant of Good for Me three years ago on Discogs is currently tanking the average sale price of it because I couldn't in good conscience sell a record I got out of the clearance bin at Hot Topic for $10 years ago for the $100+ people are asking for it nowadays.
This is this technically the Dirt variant? First time I've seen one look more grey, rather than black.
Not complete anymore since My Everest & Good For Me got represses, but this was my complete (at least I think) collection from back in like 2016ish
correct. our quality control admittedly wasn’t great bc the guy who ran the label was a dope so there were some that were blueish, some gray, some black lol
I'd go with "Ups and Downsizing" or maybe "Hands" or "Call It a Night" or "Best I Ever Had" — too many good picks to choose.
