yah i guess nick had a band for a short moment after the swellers too and that's how he sounds now, my friend said the band name but i forgot what he said haha

Amazing! The legends deserve it!

 

I would be so fine if they came back with Nick singing lower and the songs tuned lower. This band's songwriting is just so much stronger than most of the rest of the scene. They know how to do so much with less.

 

The first half of light under closed doors was so great because they experimented with heavier, lower tuned songs. Loved it.

 

Lowkey my favorite album of theirs aside from the Running Out Of Places To Go EP. Making Waves is my favorite Swellers song.

The B-Sides album they put out this year is my probably my AOTY in my sad state of discovering new music

 

I picked that album up on a whim in an FYE - been a fan ever since

 

AltPress gave it a 4.5 and called it the best FBR album since TTTYG so I had to buy it!

 

the beginning guitar in the intro totally reminds me of blink!

it clicked the other day on a revisit, does anyone else hear it or just me?

 

Its going to be all about burritos, farts, dad life, and effect pedals. I'm for it.
