Probably just a monkey. I think it’s the same design as the monkeys in Yoshi’s Island on SNES.

 

I’d imagine they will be closer to the DC model of rushing Justice League out as a film vs the Marvel slow build. Shareholders don’t have the patience to ramp properly to a crossover film; if they did, we wouldn’t have Fox in this movie in the first place. Just ram all the IP together and collect your check.

 

They could still have a slow build. I don’t think a Smash Bros will happen for at least a few years. More than enough time to make something for Kirby or Metroid, plus we have Zelda next year.

Chatacters like Fox, Captain Falcon, Ness, etc don’t need their own films. They’re basically the black widow and Hawkeye of smash bros. Have them show up in other films if they must and then throw them in smash bros

It might be the next Mario movie but I wouldn't be surprised if there is another movie sandwiched in-between Zelda and Mario 3/Smash Bros.

Weirdly, our theater is having a midnight showing of this on Wednesday. I assume it’s for the adults that don’t want to put up with rotten children screaming at the screen.

 

I still don’t understand the Wednesday release at the beginning of April. Who is taking their child to this on a Wednesday night. They should be doing chores and homework.

 

They clearly don’t want to be in direct competition with the movie every parent will be taking their kids to - “The Drama.”
