this seems pretty accurate from what ive read, seen, & heard.

Got to agree. I loved the first 20-30 minutes and thought the animation and the vibe was cool, but then it was about 80 minutes of just insane, over the top, colorful action. Like, as frenetic and frantic as I've ever seen in an animated film...

Also both Chris Pratt and Charlie Day absolutely suck as Mario and Luigi. Like... total duds as personifying literally anything that I had in my mind about them.

I want to say it was fun, and it was as I'd had a long day in the sun drinking and was high, but objectively really not good and if I was a parent, I'd say it was some brainrot slop and would NOT want this to become the trend and the norm for kids movies.

Barely had a plot or a lesson, or a moral, just all colors, all action...
