I watched Stuckman’s review today and it gave me hope the back half could be fun. I’m not expecting much though.

 

Haha, I was just joking around.

Both movies are fun for different reasons.

 

I actually did just buy the 90’s one. I haven’t seen it in like 25 years, at least. Kind of curious what adult Greg will think of it.

 

I had no interest in seeing “Air,” but the decent reviews have me seeing it over this for tonight.

 

I think Illumination makes mostly mediocre movies, but I give them credit for one of the most bizarre choices. In “Secret Life of Pets 2,” they close the movie with a bunch of Youtube clips of pets being silly. Our audience loved it. Best part of the movie. Then they followed it up with Kevin Hart’s character covering Desiigner’s “Panda,” a song that nobody knew and the audience couldn’t have been more confused. Some dad yelled “What the hell is this?”

 

I am laughing so hard right now and just yelled what the hell is this as well

 

This was pretty great. If you’re a big Mario fan you’ll most likely love it. It’s just 90 minutes of Mario references. The cast killed it yes, including Pratt

 

Gimme a Mario Kart movie next. Those scenes were the best.

 

Happy to report I had a fun time watching this! I truly didn’t notice Chris Pratt at all and I think Jack Black was actively good as Bowser.

 

Jack Black was perfect.

 

Just got out. Yeah I liked it! it was good. I can see why people don't think it's a real movie but I liked it and it was good

Too many grown adults fussing over Illumination not making a movie specifically for them

This is my kids favorite part of the movie lol

Went to this last night and it was fun, my oldest daughter loved it. It is exactly what you would expect it to be and not much more
