Right. Like I may have never checked out a movie like Leave No Trace if I hadn’t seen it had a 100% rating on RT. But I’m gonna go see the damn Mario movie no matter what that number is

Because I don't want to waste my time with something I won't like? It's not like I'm keeping other people from seeing the movie.

I will say this though, if a movie got something like a 2%, something so catastrophically bad it's insane, I would see it. Because how the fuck does something like that happen?

man i just looked at showtimes around me for this tonight and its sold out as fuck. front row only type shit. at least its gonna do good enough numbers to launch the NCU.

My experience was weird. I went to a 1:15 because I just wanted to absolutely avoid people and especially kids and then about ten minutes in, a whole fucking like after school program came in with their chaperones and they were using the flashlight on their phones to find their seats (even though the seat numbers are lit up and so are the aisle letters) and then proceeded to hand out plastic bags of goodies to the kids. I chose the very very back seat against the wall and ALL of them sat in front of me.

They were fine during the rest of the movie, but it was just weird.

 

Let's be honest, a lot of kids these days can't tell time from an analogue clock, it ain't just babies.

 

I’m not seeing this until Friday but I’m going to try to avoid the mid and end credit scenes until then
