Reading the reviews makes this sound like Justice League, which was a feature length cutscene compilation with no gameplay segments

I just got done. I'm still in the theater during the credits.

It's a bizarre movie.

 

Man, I was really hoping Illumination would have pumped out a Despicable Me caliber movie for this IP. These reviews are not promising at all. lol

 

audience score is at like 98& though

 

All the reviews I've seen, whether positive or negative, have told me this movie is exactly what I thought it would be: 90 minutes of watching someone play the game with super high-end graphics. Can't wait to take my kids.

I think it's fine if people want to watch reviews to see if they want to spend money on something they might not enjoy.

if you need to see reviews to determine whether or not youre gonna like a 90-min animated super mario brothers movie with this A-List of a voice cast, idk man lol
