I'm not gonna argue about it because it's not important but for a live action movie I'd agree but I just can't see it for an animated movie. Like are you going to make up the difference between his salary and some voice actors salary in ticket sales because he's in it? Good point about the press circuit though I still don't know who these people are that are all in on Chris Pratt. I'm too offline I guess lol.
it's just sad overall that there was a time Billy West could be the star of Space Jam and now his coworker almost didn't do Futurama, fine I guess Michael Jordan is the star not Bugs haha
again they very much think the answer to that question is "yes" and they probably have stats and numbers and shit to justify it. not saying its right but theres a reason for it.
I remember it being the last movie I saw before everything shut down and didn’t go to the movies for a whole year. Also my daughter acted up and ran around the theater
This would be much better with a November release. It just feels like something families would go to during the holiday season.
disagree, because then it'd have to compete w/ the disney animated movie, which normally is what takes up residence in the thanksgiving weekend spot (encanto, wreck it ralph, moana, frozen 2, etc. etc.)
...If Disney ever stopped making movies? Trying to understand the qualifier for where this replaces anything.
Okay, technically in the original Mario Bros. arcade game, the turtle enemies are not Koopas, they're called Shellcreepers, and technically you don't stomp them, you hit them from underneath to get them to go inside their shell and then you kick the shell away. My point? Anyone seriously calling Pratt out on this is a gigantic nerd.
There is no way he was referring to that game. Most people don’t even know about it. The reference is clearly Super Mario Bros, which does have koopas and you stomp them. This is silly.
I didn't listen to the clip so I don't know if he actually says "arcade game" or not, but my first instinct was also that he's probably just talking about Super Mario Bros.
