I remember being mad that BTBAM played like four songs on the Cool Tour

Any news on other bands besides the 3 that are confirmed?

Not yet. The Summer Slaughter Facebook account has also been oddly quiet this year. They haven't dropped any lyrical hints about who they might be looking at and have only posted about line-up wishes once and American Satan (WHOO!).

I really hope they get some surprises on this because BTBAM, Veil of Maya, and Born of Osiris is super underwhelming. Some new blood on the tour would be nice.

Pretty sure we are getting ATB too so they can have the trio. Hoping for some tech-death to round out the rest of the bill.

Unless something's changed, ATB will be taking 2018 off from touring to record their new album.

Beyond Creation liked their last post and they have a new album dropping soon, so they are a possibility

Soreption would actually be a pretty cool get that's well within the confines of what we'd expect from Summer Slaughter. Allegaeon...meh.

Looks like Entheos is the next confirmed band.

This is a really solid SS lineup, probably will add another two to three bands but the lineup is really strong so far.

Surprised BTBAM are playing NYC again when they were just here last month. I'm guessing they're not going to be playing the city again until late next year.

Erra AND Terror Universal are the odd ones on this, but Erra makes a little more sense.

This is coming to Detroit the same night as Attila/Suicide Silence/Volumes and that's honestly hilarious.

Terror Universal is very odd on this. They sound like an early 00s Nu Metal/Groove Metal band

The only Summer Slaughter I’ve been to, this local band opened and they were pretty nü metal/groove metal-ish. Which I thought was weird. Now they have a band like that ACTUALLY on the tour.

Went to this yesterday in Philly, surprised at how well this drew, considering BTBAM has toured a lot the past few years, and Veil and BOO and Erra have all toured together and toured a lot. It’s funny cause when the show started there were maybe 20 people there and people trickled in for hours, by the time the Agony Scene started there were maybe 200 people there and I thought damn this sucked....but people must have done their research cause by the time Erra hit the place was packed. By the time Veil started the entire place was madness. Definitely looked like a very successful year for the tour.

Tons of people should’ve been there during The Agony Scene too. Band fucking RIPS and so does their new album.

This is actually how I predicted every night would be for this tour.

I was at this Saturday and started a wall of death to Decpacito before Erra went on. Best concert moment of my life
