“Anyone could die!” is a pretty lazy, overrated way to create stakes, imo, & a lame overreaction to “no one’s gonna die.” Not that a well timed death can’t be a good emotional beat, or (in this kinda film) hilarious. But, when too much emphasis is put on that aspect, it just kinda becomes rote to me.
It’d be hilarious if he died like a half hour into the movie in some anticlimactic way, after casting Cena in the role & giving him his own HBO Max series.
They need to do a Samuel L Jackson in Deep Blue Sea type situation. Biggest actor gets killed off first and early. Idris Elba for example.
That's one of the things I really loved about The Hunt. The movie kinda sucked, but the opening was great for doing what it did.
