Birds of Prey wasn't very good at all imo It was just as much a casualty of studio ineptitude as other mediocre comic-book films.
I wasn’t too fond of BOP. I saw it opening day with some friends but haven’t cared to watch it since. Just not a fan of those characters.
Took me a while during my first viewing of this to pin down where I had seen something that looked like Starro before but when I realised I couldn't stop laughing because it looks just like this
The wife and I both enjoyed it. I think I was expecting and hoping for more based on how much I enjoyed the Guardians of the Galaxy flicks. I felt like some of the graphic nature of the film felt a little forced, but not enough to detract from the overall feel of the film. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I saw it in theaters, but I needed to save money after going to the theaters the last 2-3 weeks. I'll probably watch it again this week.
This was pretty firmly in the ok camp for me. The tone didn’t really work imo, and the jokes didn’t really land
Watched this last night and I was surprised how limited the locations were, story-wise. I may have Marvel burnout and jumping back and forth between hundreds of locales in a single movie, but I was surprised that they storm the island and then it all takes place on the island
