Starro as the main villain is great lol I liked what I saw of Harley, Peacemaker and King Shark as well.
So unless they just haven't posted them yet it looks like they didn't make character posters for Blackguard, Mongal, Javelin, and TDK, guess we know who the potential early cannon fodder is lol
Starro! And are we taking bets on how quickly Flag and Boomerang are killed off? Cause I don’t have them lasting very long.
I definitely think these two will die. Harley is going to be the only one from the first movie left standing after this. I could see Rick lasting most of the movie and then sacrificing himself in some way towards the end though.
Fully onboard, this looks like so much fun. Interesting takes I’ve seen so far is some people hating this because Zack Synder isn’t involved (?), people opining that the original was superior because reasons, and tying into that, people who definitely don’t know what SS actually is and the 2016 movie is all they know.
I avoid superhero fandom discourse at all costs because it's nauseating, but I would bet they're disappointed that the movie doesn't look like it ties into the larger universe of Snyder's movies, which... why would it?
Right, like it’s more than clear that WB and DC are moving forward past Synder’s vision and Final Cut was throwing him a bone to finish what he started before that tragedy happened to him and to draw people in to sub HBO Max. But these people just won’t let it go, they can’t accept that many people did not like those Synder movies and SS 2016 and they can’t accept that WB and DC realized and this and are changing course to something more sustainable.
Yeah, I think it was assumed that he’d be voiced by Taika. But Sly is a hell of a bit of casting for him.
How did John Cena change nothing about his personality or delivery, yet remain so intriguing and charismatic as an action star. Really crazy. It parallels the Rock’s rise but Cena got into better movies faster.
