Yea I saw it alone, would love to rewatch it with someone but my partner CANNOT do needles so he literally can't watch this movie for a good chunk of it lol

 

I saw this movie like twice within a week JUST because my podcast co-host had not seen it and I needed to be there when she did lmao

 

I'd love to hear every woman's opinion of this movie. I saw it with my wife and there were so many moments involving the female experience she'd never seen on screen before that really got to her and she loved it.

 

My parents saw it and were just like it got kinda weird but I think they liked it

 

lol my parents are the same - they rarely engage on things from a thematic level and it leads to convos like this

I gotta say, I am liking this but I feel like it’s missing the feeling that a real true psycho made it, like most of the films it’s taking from. Also 2.5 hrs is too long. I’ve heard it really gets after it in the last 30, so we’ll see. Probably wont finish tonight

Haha I have a family and we got home later than expected from doing Christmas things. My son’s going through a sleep regression so he’ll be up at 3 and then up for good around 7. If I’m up past midnight, my Saturday is lost.

Now, if this movie were a normal exploitation hour and 20-45? I’d be all in
