'The Studio's Seth Rogen Emmys Interview On Sal Saperstein "Rogen was also asked if Apple CEO Tim Cook will join the long list of The Studio‘s guest stars, for Season 2. Rogen said, “I met him last night for the first time, and he said he was a fan of the show, which was very nice. I’m on another show on Apple [Platonic]. He didn’t say he was a fan of that one. So, I believed him. We know he’s honest, and I don’t know, I hope we all get free iPhones out of this or something.” "In the wake of all the Emmy wins for The Studio Season 1, Rogen also said he was going to “follow up” with a bunch of celebrities on his recruiting mission for Season 2 big name guest stars. “I hope if anyone was on the fence, this would maybe kick them over to the other side, but I don’t know,” he said. “So far it’s, it’s been the same, I would say, but yeah, there’s a few people I’m gonna follow up with tomorrow with a little more bounce in my step than maybe I had before. Literally, as I was standing on the stage, I was looking out at the crowd, being like, ‘Oh, maybe he’ll do it now.’ I do hope to parlay this into better episodes next year.”
4 episodes in and I can't recall the last time I enjoyed a show this much straight off the bat. No notes whatsoever.
For me the quality somewhat lessened after episode 4 but was still excellent. Didn't enjoy the final couple as I find these drunk/high episodes that are common in comedy shows to be generic and cheap laughs. Golden Globes was tremendous though, definitely my highlight in the latter half of this series.
