Premiering on Apple TV+ 3/26/25; starring Seth Rogen, Catherine Ohara, Ike Barinholtz.

Seth Rogen stars as a newly-appoint head of a movie studio. Desperate for celebrity approval, he and his executive team at Continental Studios must juggle corporate demands with creative ambitions as they keep movies alive and relevant.

Everything I’ve read about this show is right up my alley so I had to start a thread. Begins the week after Severance ends, so my Apple TV+ subscription is worth its weight in gold.

There’s so much good stuff on Apple that they don’t even advertise as well. Rec digging through their back catalogue of shows. Drops of God is a stunner. Also loved Disclaimer, Bad Sisters, Black Bird, Servant, Platonic, The Shrink Next Door, and more. Pachinko, Defending Jacob, Sugar… all on my list. They’re also coming out with a new Jon Hamm drama called Your Friends and Neighbors soon, and there’s that upcoming Vince Gilligan show too. So much good stuff there.

First episode was great. And yeah I think I watch the most new shows on Apple. I feel like I always have at least one show on there that I’m watching.

Among the recent modern Hollywood studio satires that have come out recently this is probably the best of the bunch

Kathryn Hahn and Catherine O'Hera are fantastic in this. Always great to see the GOAT celebrity game show contestant Ike Barinholtz in stuff.

Sarah Polly playing herself in episode 2 was so good. Hope she gets a guest actress in a comedy nom for that. Honestly got a feeling there will a lot of guest actor in a comedy noms from this show.

This is pretty great. Loving Kathryn Hahn and Bryan Cranston.

Edit: Beetlejuice 2 almost made me forget how much I also fucking love O’Hara.

    Scorsese crying was really good

The amount of pull Rogen must have to get this guest cast is must be huge
