also kinda weird 2 songs from the future present past ep made the top 20. i forget that ep existed sometimes.

 

I TOTALLY forgot this was coming out so soon, feels like there's been barely any promotion at all

I realize that's hard to do right now but at least some social media posts

 

So do we think this is happening?

 

I mean they have definitely sent out advances. Because I’ve seen critics talking about it on Twitter.

Album title’s foresight is eerie.

That review is about what I expected based on what we’ve heard so far. If you’re curious about weird Strokes you’ll probably like this record. And it’ll probably age well, just like the best stuff off their last 3 records have. I was pretty sure “At the Door” was gonna be closer to the actual feel of the record than “Bad Decisions” and it sounds like that’s the cas. I’m also a lot higher on that track than DeVille....who just hasn’t come to a conclusion on the record yet. At 9 tracks it’ll probably slate nicely in their expanding discography. Their floor as a band is incredibly high, their curse is that their ceiling is also incredibly high.

 

Idk I like all 3 songs which is already a 3rd of this album. Pretty sure I’m gonna love this thing.

I've only heard each song once but this one had a super strong first impression on me

I don't think they're capable of making anything I totally dislike though

 

some one on their reddit has the vinyl and has put up 2 min clips of a few of the songs. the adults are talking and ode to the mets sound fantastic
