so much fucking nostalgia. in high school me and my friends started a strokes coverband. we were very bad.

 

great stuff in here, hopefully don't regret not ordering the vinyl

 

Hawaii is one of my favorite Strokes songs, top 5 easily

 

Eh while I don’t love it - I also know that the dudes have backed progressive candidates and used their platform to help fundraise for them so all good! At least it’s not Joe Rogan lol

Anyways, can’t wait for the next LP with Rubin!!

Francis Trouble is my favorite solo record from anyone in The Strokes so I’m excited for this even if that single is just alright.

 

I think I would put the first CRX album and Phrazes for the Young at the top if I'm ranking Strokes side projects, but Francis Trouble might be next. Probably my favorite AHJ album.

 

That first CRX record is solid! Too bad the second album was super forgettable -_-

Phrazes is great too of course and I would rank it #2 after Francis :)

 

Agreed on the 2nd CRX album. That was a pretty big disappointment for me

 

If we're talking Strokes side projects I'll always send that Little Joy album love.

 

Never heard of this album somehow. Gonna check it out tonight!

yeah The Voidz are easily my favorite side project

Tyranny is messy as hell but I do sometimes forget how top shelf Virtue is.

 

Definitely a different vibe, but perfect for warm weather.

 

voidz and little joy are the only side projects i've cared about.
