yep... $81 + "fuck you" fees for nosebleeds? no thanks. I'll probably go if resale prices go way down, but otherwise not worth it.
It is $99.50+fees for nosebleeds in Chicago. There are a few $59.50+fees tickets but when I say a few I literally mean a few. I was not planning on going to this tour because of RHCP but good lord I feel like coming out of the pandemic this is a tour that does not need to be as expensive as it is...but what do I know.
Sucks because a tour with just Strokes and Thundercat at decent venues instead of arenas would be great
my brother bought 2 floor seats and it was almost $600 and offered to sell me one. yeah, no thanks guy haha
Ticket prices are so inflated these days, which is weird (or perhaps because) most shows aren’t selling out.
Time for a Black Mirror episode where bands are graded on their live shows and then fall in a ticket price range based on those results.
We prob should get used to it, I think prices for concert tickets, especially big ones like this, are just gonna be even more expensive like everything else now
“They only want to do one-offs that they can charge a lot of money for” is my guess. They’re making at least $750k for each of these festival headlining gigs, why undermine that?
Just got back from their show at the forum. Acoustics were dog shit and Julian forgot plenty of lyrics but it was a great time. They played At The Door and Call It Fate Call It Karma for the first time ever
Cheapest tickets in Charlotte are $100+ after fees? I love the Strokes, but idk if I'll pay that for a stadium show
genuinely surprising to me. even arena shows i’m usually dropping around that these days, unless you’re just going nosebleeds i guess.
