Was thinking the same thing haha. Definitely a great setlist regardless, but I do still love some songs off of that album. I can understand if they didn’t enjoy that era of the band much, but it’s a bummer they didn’t even include Under Cover of Darkness.
Julian hates most of Angles so I wouldn’t expect anything from that era to make it to a set list ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I personally think the album is half killer half filler. Comedown Machine is much better and New Abnormal is their best full length record post-hiatus.
I prefer Angles slightly to Comedown Machine, neither is their best work overall but they both still have some great standouts for me.
I was thinking y’all were crazy and the Angles was great through and through. And then I looked at the track list and yeah, about half and half. Those great ones are great though.
Machu Picchu, Under Cover, You’re So Right, Fool, and Moonlight are great. The other half of the record is pretty forgettable and I always skip it when doing a discography run.
I’m sorry but I have to: First Impressions of Earth > Room on Fire > Is This It > New Abnormal > Future Present Past EP > Comedown Machine > Angles
Angles as a whole would probably be at the bottom for me, but I would still choose it over a couple other albums simply because the songs I love I love so much. Ha
