Great SNL performances. Took me back 15 years. Still loving the new album.

Listened to First Impressions of Earth this morning for the first time in years. I still love it. Only about two songs I got bored with.

I have no idea why it’s taken me this long to check these guys out but I caught their SNL performance last week and been listening to the album all week.

absolutely loving it and been spinning First Impressions of the Earth good bit as well. Really enjoying both. I listened to Angles years ago which I enjoyed but never stuck with me. Excited to revisit it and their others

 

Making my way through this album as well as Is This It and First Impressions of Earth and I love all three

this may be my favorite thus far. The last four tracks on this album are absolutely incredible.

 

Just popping in to say that I still listen to this album regularly and it’s just about everything I could want from a Strokes album.

 

They got nominated for a Grammy.

 

I love The Strokes, and this album, but Sturgill should 100% win. That album ripped.

I know this site doesn't like him but his interviews have been surprisingly good and insightful so I'm looking forward to this

 

Some times he'll say something insightful in his album reviews, but his interviews are so cringey for me. I had to turn the Gorillaz interview off halfway through.

 

His Gorillaz interview is the only one I've seen... he seemed genuinely nervous and excited. Don't interview your heroes?
