Definitely not offended by whoever in the Landman writer’s room having a full blown crash out about some poorly characterized liberal boogeyman they made up in their head. But it does bum me out knowing that if that scene was written with even a single shred of empathy, most of their viewership would be boycotting Sheridan because of “woke”
Landman finale was fantastic. While I didn't like the season as a *whole* compared to S1, the finale fucking nailed it. Really felt like the show can go anywhere now and anything is possible. I remain cautious though how long these shows will last once Sheridan leaves.....like Mayor of Kingstown has already announced its upcoming season is it's last. I do know though Peacock is gonna be better off now with the addition of Sheridan and whatever ideas he's got in his head. The deal is 20 shows over the course of 5 years, sign me up. In Sheridan We Trust
Is the daughter still presented in a gross way like we’re supposed to to be drooling over a 17 year old? Cuz that whole plot line stunk in s1.
People from all over the political spectrum seem to enjoy that show but I work on environmental issues and the windmill scene still pops up a lot as some kind of gotcha when it is complete bullshit propaganda. So I’ll never forgive that show until they do a mea culpa kinda like South Park with the man bear pig lol
I keep getting ads for this Britbox UK show where a bunch of middle aged women form a Riot Grrrl band and sing punk songs about menopause.
I usually don't watch network shows, but I just started watching Fox's Bad Medicine., which is an American remake of a British show. I like it so far. Fish out of water in a quirky small town dramedy about a big city doctor having to work in a small town. Reminds me in plot and tone of Northern Exposure. I also always liked Josh Charles as a character actor. Good for him getting his own show.
I started northern exposure a few years ago but stopped after a few episodes. Need to restart that at some point.
This is the American version of 'Doc Martin' (I Like Doc Martin because the Doc also did the voice of Kipper the Dog') Doc Martin was a great British series, we liked it a lot. Every character was really funny.
It was fantastic. Was excited to come share my thoughts and read others. Should've known logging into chorus I'd see negativity towards it but glad to see others enjoyed it too!
