How the heck did I miss that Cooper Raiff’s show came out back in OCTOBER?! Jesus. Anyway, it’s really good so far.
One weird January drop is 11.22.63, which was a Hulu Original limited series adaptation of a Stephen King novel starring James Franco from 2016 is coming to Netflix 1/7. That series was from back in the early days of Hulu Originals pre-Disney takeover and didn't really catch on. Weird to see it recycled on Netflix 10 years later to try to give it a second life.
Wish a gif existed of Eddie Brock saying "cinema" from that "Truth In Jounalism" Venom short. I've wanted to use that more often than you'd think.
@Azz Hugh Dillon is interviewed here and basically says that the ORIGINAL concept of 7 seasons is still a go, next season being the last is NOT a thing anymore re: Mayor of Kingstown.
If the news about Netflix only allowing a 17-day theatrical window is true, cinemas are going to be put under more unnecessary pressure and it will be a sad day when so few of them are left. It is clear that Netflix is doing this to kill the competition, as they know all they have on their side is convenience.
