The Wrap: 11 best episodes of TV in 2025 11. Slow Horses 5x6 - Scars 10. Paradise 1x7 - The Day 9. Pluribus 1x1 - We Is Us 8. The Rehearsal 2x3 - Pilot's Code 7. Wheel Of Time 3x4 - The Road to the Spear 6. Black Mirror 7x5 - Eulogy 5. The Lowdown 1x5 - This Land? 4. Alien: Earth 1x5 - In Space, No One... 3. Severance 2x7 - Chikhai Bardo 2. The Pitt 1x12 - 6:00PM 1. Andor 2x9 - Welcome To The Rebellion * yes I noticed the omission of Adolescence. I guessing they just didn't count limited series.
Alien: Earth was pretty disappointing as a whole, but 1x5 was probably the best episode of that season.
finished A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, it is a good murder mystery but it gets dangerously close to being too convoluted, like, it allllmost crosses the line between satisfying and frustrating. i think the YA character drama is handled really well tho, it tackles a lot of difficult themes without showing too much or taking things too far. Emma Myers is great in this, both charming and empathetic. I'm really glad that after Wednesday Netflix decided to give her her own show. i'm excited to see more of her, in the second season of this and just in general
Seeing Wheel of Time here hurts my soul. That’s my favorite chapter in the entire book series and they nailed the adaptation. It’s a shame when the show finally found its footing, they cancelled.
When Ethan Hawke is getting thrown out by the cops in episode 2 and he starts yelling about white supremacy and singing John Brown's Body I lost it lol
This feels like for Ethan Hawke what Lebowski was for Jeff Bridges. This shit was written specifically for this guy.
Mayor of Kingstown finale was hectic. And bloody. Extremely bloody. Definitely left so much unresolved to be picked up next season. Fantastic season of TV!
I can't wait to see the fallout from everything that happened. Also Kyle, goddamn what a character arc he's had....from S1 to where he has ended up, jeez.
I finally got knocked off of my mom's Disney+ account. I skipped the black friday deal because hers was still working for me at the time. Bummer
Found a good groove of Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+/Hulu (all ad plan of course because I am still a cheapo) consistently, and a rotating 4th one depending on what they have at the time I wanna watch. In a couple months I'll probably resub to Peacock for a little bit for the Winter Olympics. I also don't count Amazon Prime, because I pay the annual sub for that for the shipping and Grubhub+, streaming is just a bonus.
I keep seeing articles suggested to me from Google saying that the Disney+ add-on is going away from Hulu and that people need to shift things so they have a Disney subscription with Hulu as the add-on, but I'm not sure how true that is yet. I've gotten no communication from Disney or Hulu about it and don't see any way to make that change without contacting customer service. Has anyone else dealt with this?
I have HBO max and Starz at their Black Friday prices, Peacock at the "threaten to cancel" price, and AMC+ full price because of Shudder. I have cancelled Netflix and Apple effective on the next bill date and am going to start rotating through the services at regular price. Netflix being $17/month is crazy
