Deadwood is also one of the funnier "prestige" shows imo, up there with Sopranos which has to top that list. Maybe Justified if you include it
Deadwood is one of those shows where I have tried starting it tons of times, I like it, I have gotten through the first season at least twice. but for some reason or other I just never finish it.
Here’s hoping Netflix handles the season finale post credits scenes better than Prime did. Too many people don’t even know those exist because Prime’s autoplay feature would just skip right over em. Dumb because they’re kinda crucial
After I saw The Amateur I heard an old guy walking out of the theatre say "yeah I know that actor from a Netflix program where he plays a mentally ill man" Now that guy will be correct!
I am currently unsubbed from Paramount+. Planning on resubbing in the next month or so for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3. I will probably watch Mobland then.
"Based on the bestselling novel of the same name, “Washington Black” follows the 19th-century odyssey of George Washington “Wash” Black, an eleven-year-old boy born on a Barbados sugar plantation, whose prodigious scientific mind sets him on a path of unexpected destiny. When a harrowing incident forces Wash to flee, he is thrust into a globe-spanning adventure that challenges and reshapes his understanding of family, freedom and love. Stream all episodes beginning July 23 on Hulu."
I liked the old title for this thread a lot more. Now, at a quick glance, I see “the St…” and think, “oh, cool, The Starting Line.” But it’s this instead. Always a let down.
so the Deadwood thread hasn't been posted in in 4.5 years, oops anyways I'm on episode 2 and this Al guy does not seem like a good person
I don't think I liked that Trainwreck: Poop Cruise doc at all. Didn't really seem to have a thesis other than "isn't it horrible that these middle class Americans had live without plumbing and sleep in hallways for 5 days??" like they went through a tour of Nam or something.

Mortal Kombat Annihilation is such a garbage sequel. They kill the best character in the first minutes of the film and then things just happen with no rhyme, reason, or consistency. Characters show up with no explanation, characters leave and are never seen again. It's a true trainwreck.
