I’ve watched 3 episodes and it’s fantastic.

 

I wish streamers would just keep a network they own's full library available always, unfortunately they do that to avoid paying out streaming royalities.

 

I guess I wouldn't be surprised if an actor like Elijah Wood had a pretty good deal with royalties considering how big he is coming from LOTR. And then I can see not wanting to pay Gann who is a POS lol

It's a delight watching BBT chew scenery, but everything else about it kinda blows. Especially all the Big Oil propaganda.

 

Because of the new Ken Burns doc I am rewatching John Adams.

One of Giamatti's best works. One of the all time best HBO limited series.

I thought it was a limited series

 

Yeah I thought it was just a limited series too but from what I'm reading, the acclaim was so great for the show and they hadn't set out to make anything beyond S1 but the opportunity arose to continue Mark Ruffalo's character.

 

I read he wanted to continue making crime stories in like a shared Delco universe in bring some characters from Easttown. Maybe he just decided to do it under the Task name instead of just a third limited series.

 

That's a fantastic idea and I hope we see much more then. This and Mare are such gems.
