Ok I am very intrigued by this now. I assumed this was going to be another Yellowstone clone. Looks almost like a True Detective or a Mare of Easttown type gritty crime drama but with a Sheridan-esque setting. Solid cast. One of the showrunners is the guy who wrote The Revenant and Twisters.
I was wondering where the heck this thread went anyways what should I watch on BBC with the 6 days left of my free trial?
Thought Your Friends and Neighbors was pretty good. Loved seeing Hamm dial back up Don Draper mode a couple times, and while the story had a lot of ridiculousness to it it was definitely outweighed by being fun. Amanda Peet incredibly underrated, gave me warm and fuzzy flashbacks to the 1/3 of Togetherness that was an all time great show before it tanked beyond words.
Just got done watching Cleaner on Max. Not great, but a decent enough 90 minutes. Daisy Ridley is charismatic enough to keep me intrigued. A cross between Die Hard, Mercury Rising, and Phone Booth.
i remember seeing the trailer for this and laughing that they copy/pasted the same bit of dialogue twice in the span of like 2 minutes. heard the film was alright but a tad forgettable
Mad About You getting added to Hulu next month on 7/31! One of the better 90's sitcoms that has been completely absent during the streaming era until now. Paul Reiser, Helen Hunt, Richard Kind. Can't go wrong there.
It had crossover episodes with both Seinfeld and Friends, if anyone is a super fan of those series too
Finished TLOU season two. Starting Wednesday. Im catching up on shows I missed. I think Fallout and Adolescence are next.
Amazon Prime's 2015-2017 under the radar crime drama Sneaky Pete starring Giovonni Rabisi and Bryan Cranston is officially coming to Netflix next month.
