basically the closest thing to a callback to before sunrise. legitimately great film. i liked cha cha when i saw it but have had no desire to rewatch. the show looks great. he started so young, if nothing else i wanna see what we get from him in like a decade.

Really interested in that Philly Mob War doc on Netflix. I have gone into the rabbithole of Joey Merlino Vlad TV interviews. It's a crazy story. Like imagine in the Sopranos if like early season Christopher took down Tony. That is was basically what happened in Philly in the early 90's.
I still need to try his cheesesteak. One of the more surreal vids that I’ve seen recently is of Skinny Joey and his lapdog outside of the steak shop the day after the catholic school mass shooting. Joey goes on an unhinged rant about hiring ex cops and vets to sit outside schools and shoot anyone that gets close without asking questions. Makes some terrible transphobic comments and then, without any sort of transition, he and Snuff launch into their gambling picks for the week lol. Absolutely insane stuff. edit: I’m sorry, vice versa. Gambling picks immediately into his unhinged rant

I liked Interview with a Vampire alot. I watched the pilot of Mayfair and didn't care for it. Maybe I'll give this a try.
Interview is fantastic, Mayfair....I couldn't even finish the 2nd season. Talamasca seems to be a LOT more directly tied to Interview which is cool.
