Started the nat geo Katrina doc on Hulu last night. I’ll start the Netflix one too and see how they compare

 

Twisted Metal s2 was fun. love Steph obv, but Saylor was also a nice addition to the cast. weird that they didn't bring Neve back. turns out Patty, who played the replacement for that character, was also Madisynn in She-Hulk, which i find hilarious.

 

I liked the first two episodes of the Netflix Katrina doc. The third episode was kinda all over the place in how it shifted format.

That stuff in episode 3 with Brad Pitt setting up that "sustainable" affordable housing development in the 9th Ward where all the houses fell apart within 5 years was wild though.

The in-universe reason is because they are multiple Ravens with the one in Season 2 being the one from the game.

But I read on Reddit someone asked Neve at a convention and she said straight up they couldn't afford her.

Per the rec of the Watch podcast I started The Eastern Gate. Very good thus far

 

Yeah I really liked that series; great acting and interesting story

 

I turned the third episode off. It was like watching a completely different documentary than the first two episodes - which were great. I also didn't realize all three episodes were directed by a different director. As soon as episode 3 started I was like, this reminds me of a Spike Lee production and sure enough, it was.

Interesting. Listening to a podcast the other day says they changed their streaming strategy by dropping it all at once. They didn’t know if that meant low confidence or just the show suits better in that format. So maybe the latter

 

show is sitting at an 89% on RT. sounds like it takes some time to get good, but that it has potential. will believe it when i see it, but still intrigued to watch

 

the analogy used "people do bad stuff and don't get caught" is wild.
