I am hoping to invest in one of the Panasonic 4k Dolby boys in the near future. The sony one I have now stinks, and I don’t play enough games to warrant buying a ps5 (plus they don’t read all 4k discs).
so yeah decided to show my 6 year old some looney toons tonight. I showed him the Bugs baseball one because it’s a classic (forgot about Bugs showing one of the other players a picture of a sexy woman to distract him and the guy going all aooga on it lol) and he enjoyed it, then showed him a road runner/Wile e coyote one and he was cracking up watching that one
damn, i can barely remember what i watched at that age range. Little Bear, Franklin? Hey Arnold, Doug? a few years later i was probably watching DBZ after school. most animated shows i can recommend to ppl (with or without kids) skews a little older, like ATLA, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Owl House
Taylor Sheridan's Underrated Action Series Gets Season 3 Renewal https://screenrant.com/taylor-sheridan-lioness-season-3-renewed-update/
That is the other bugs one that immediately comes to my mind and I do plan on trying to find it haha. Unfortunately it’s not organized in any real way, it’s seemingly all 700+ episodes in one big season on there, so you gotta scroll through a lot.
I was a Nick kid at that age so yeah was watching Rugrats and Doug and whatever else was on Nick at the time. I didn’t watch too much Disney or Cartoon Network, but did sometimes. CN was playing a lot of the classic cartoons like LooneyToons iirc, but maybe Nick had them too?
First trailer for Netflix's animated adaptation of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. From the writer of John Wick. Liev Schreiber voicing Sam Fisher. October 14th.
Ok so I’ve usually been pretty positive about Peacock in the past because I get it through my xfinity account and had the free version with limited/no ads. That must’ve changed very recently. I booted it up last night to see what movies they had before bed. Finally watched Never Rarely Sometimes Always when I saw it was on there. Absolutely incredible movie and deserving of all the praise I’ve heard about it. Holy shit it was borderline unwatchable with the amount of ads for Target and big pharma. Like every 20 min then towards the end I swear it was every 7-8 minutes it would throw a 3 minute ad in. wtf
Yeah it’s maybe the worst streamer when it comes to ads. I switched to ad free very quick when a 21 minute episode had 3 90+ second commercial breaks.
Just watched The Truth About Jussie Smolett on Netflix. It is beyond baffling that Jussie seriously still thinks he can convince the world that he was innocent. Now he’s spinning a new story about how he’s the victim of police framing him because of his sexuality and race. Even funnier is the Nigerian twins exploiting the hell out of their infamy, with neither of them even remembering the title of their tell all book.
Now that WWE events aren't going to be on Peacock anymore I don't think I can really justify continually subbing to it. I think when the next Olympics comes around in like 6 months I will resub for a month or two, because their Olympic coverage is really good, but besides that I don't think so
Starting that Amanda Knox limited series I like that right away in the subtext of the first 10 minutes this show basically confirms my theory about this case from the time I watched the doc about it. That Amanda Knox is on the spectrum and her "odd" behavior was used against her by the cops and prosecutors. They never say autism, but they call it "quirks" which is a blatant code for autism especially when describing autistic women.
wait so the new series is like a drama and not a documentary? i have no connection to the case, i just remember there being a time when this thumbnail was huge on netflix: starin into my soul
Started Hostage on Netflix. Great show that keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Highly recommended. Binged most of the episodes today. I know its not getting entirely great reviews but I enjoyed it.
