If it wasn't for Adolescence then this would be my limited series of the year (so far) Williams is 100% getting that leading actress in a limited/anthology Emmy.
Started Mobland last night, fantastic show so far. Helen Mirren is ruthless in this. I've only got a couple of weeks left of my Paramount+ trial, gonna try and finish this and the newest seasons of Tulsa King & Yellowjackets
I listened to the audiobook version and I agree it does get darkly comedic at many points and yeah it would be a big mistake if they made it into a straight up comedy.. hopefully they do find an new director ASAP
It's pretty rare I tear up during TV shows, but the ending of Dying For Sex got me very emotional. What a goddamn show.
I'll be honest I mostly use Disney+ to watch Hulu stuff anyway just because the standalone Hulu app sucks.
On my smart tv the Hulu app usually is ok. On my tablet and phone though it almost never works.. Especially once I switched to the ad tier. Basically Hulu's ads make everything crash on mobile.
Silly to combine them, but I'll celebrate never having to see Hulu's "please wait while we gather what's new" message while the app is loading again.
as someone who prefers watching Hulu in the Disney+ app, this is still stupid for those who use Hulu for live TV/add-ons/don't care about Disney+. the company said they're still gonna offer the option to subscribe to each service separately (without having to subscribe to the other), but it makes more sense to offer multiple viewing options to subscribers. this integration was gonna happen one way or another, but they could've gone the Warner route and still kept a standalone Hulu app.
This was always the inevitably since Comcast sold their shares and Disney got full ownership last year.
This is funny because every time we watch Marvel stuff on Disney+, we get an error about our connection and we have to back all the way out, go to the connection on our TV, verify it is indeed connected, go back in, and then it works. It’s reliably unreliable.
I genuinely don't see the issue here? You can do everything in D+ that you can do in Hulu, and at this point, both apps use a Disney login, so you don't even need to set up a new account or credentials. I'm fine with one less app
