Nobody is better than heads of state. Heads of state had a great premise and just farted all over that. Watched the first episode of untamed and will not be continuing. Stinky.
Saw the first 2 episodes last night and it's really good so far and it's in the Hawaiian language, not a hint of English so turn the subtitles on for it
Trying to catch up on some stuff. Finally watched the final season of What We Do in the Shadows last yesterday.
Reviews are pretty mediocre for this. Amazon is just addicted to assembling a decent ensemble for the most C- scripts in the world.
Trying to finish some more Emmy nominated stuff before next month. Got The Penguin and final season of Shadows done the last few weeks. I tried Nobody Wants This, but definitely not for me, and won't continue. Currently trying to finish Dying For Sex and it's great. Besides those still not caught up on: Abbott, Only Murders In The Building, Shrinking, and Slow Horses.
Dying For Sex is so fantastic. Surprised there wasn't much talk about it in here. Michelle Williams is incredible.
Finished Stick. Last 3 or so episodes were definitely best but overall just okay. Seems like season 2 could be a step up.
From what I saw, he was pushing to make it more comedic. They are portraying an abusive mother-daughter relationship, so seems like a good move to find someone else.
Tbh the book is funny and darkly comedic at many points, but yeah leaning too much into the comedy would be wrong.
