Also been watching Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed per the unavoidable "Steven King said this is better than Widow's Bay" praise. I was worried in the first episode that it was going to be incredibly dumb, but it quickly stepped on the gas pretty hard into fun thriller territory and has only gotten better with each episode. It's not better than WB (nor even the same genre), but it's a good ride. And Jake Johnson is great.
Hell yeah, I just binged the entire series a couple months back and loved it. Good that it's getting a followup.
Just wanted to chime in after watching the latest episode, the show is so good. It works perfectly as a weekly release, it's the type that would be ruined somewhere else where they drop all episodes at once. The suspense and mystery hooks you and has you wondering all week until the next episode.....Apple is fucking killing it with their shows!
Could anyone else just not get through Season 2 of My Friends and Neighbors? Bummer because season 1 was so good.
yeah, my sister keeps trying to get me to watch, and i just have no interest in the premise or its cast
we stopped a few before the end of s1. it was always on the cusp and falling short of being compelling
we finally finished season one last week. the last few episodes were easily the best. weird show as the plot is all over the place. we haven't started season two yet.
I got a few into season 2 and dropped it but I heard that it ends really strong or at least on par with season 1 from a friend who said they were similarly out on the first 3-4 episodes of this season
I really enjoyed S1. S2 was okay, not as great but James Marsden is a welcome addition to the cast. It does pick up at the end 100% and leave you wanting to see what's gonna happen in S3.
I watched both seasons. It's fine. Not at all focused and even kind of ridiculous but it's enjoyable enough.
My two interests have intersected and Connor Storrie is on this season of Criminal Minds and I can't handle it. Love that the show is milking the guest appearance. They hit the jackpot with getting him before Heated Rivalry came out and then having him blow up before his episodes of Criminal Minds aired. They even have just him on the cover art thing for the show on Paramount+ like he's a lead or something lmao Edit: and Matty Saracen is still in this season too so basically I'm just living for all the criminal minds guest appearances
For some reason the YouTube algorithm kept pushing reels of the Lucifer show on me.. 4 episodes in on Netflix, and I'm hooked haha
Season 3 episode 5 of Better Call Saul…I was tense the whole 45 minutes. Incredible episode of television. I’m mad I missed this when it was on the air.
Glad this has a release date, my wife and I saw them filming some of it in Brooklyn last September on holiday.
