Yeah the whole season was great; good acting, interesting story setups and mysteries, cool locations, etc. Filmed in Budapest; my Hungarian colleague enjoyed watching it and picking out all the places she recognized.
I decided to continue Better Call Saul after thinking season one was alright. It’s definitely a slow burn, but I enjoyed season two A LOT more. A few moments made me yell at the TV. oh, and I can’t remember the last time I hated a character more than Chuck. What an absolute scumbag. Fuck Chuck.
with Seinfeld leaving Netflix this year I wonder if they’ll try and get it back? also football and SNL and the fall and rise of Reggie dinkins.
Peacock has World Cup right now and I watched the episode of The Osbournes where Kelly is dating Bert McCracken a couple days ago and that worth it. It is very weird that it isn't censored, that show is much funnier with the bleeps.
Lotta reddit talk in this and the story is predictable but the leads are charming enough to make me enjoy it.
watched the first episode of Widow's Bay based on general reactions and vibes, found it incredibly boring, please someone tell me it gets better
I've kept watching and it's not terrible, but I want more out of it. The Josh character was just brutal the first couple episodes and in general I think investment bankers are kind of a funny (derogatory) job to center a show about 20 somethings around. I can see myself getting over both of those things if it gets funny enough or if one or two of the plot threads gets more compelling. It's not there for me through 5 or 6 episodes, but I'm liking most of the cast, so a second season leap doesn't seem out of the question.
