I love Emma Myers, and the rest of that cast is pretty good. The show deals with some pretty heavy topics but it's still very much a YA series, which is totally fine if that's what you're in the mood for.
watched an early version of the first 5 or so eps, Javier is perfectly cast but personally kinda over the whole isn't this weird and creepy vibe everything has to have now since it feels like it's manipulating me to be scared
I like that Star City doesn't feel really like For All Mankind. It honestly feels like space themed The Americans a little bit which sorta rocks.
Season two of Northern Exposure was bonkers, especially when they broke the fourth wall to the extent of Blazing Saddles. And the fate of Maggie’s boyfriend Rick…jeeeeze. This is getting less of a drama and more of a comedy. All the characters have really grown on me and each episode having an A, B, and C plot give them all the spotlight.
My wife grew up with Taylor and was still friends with her on Facebook when all this shit went down. Fucking crazy.
Netflix, Sony Team on Greta Gerwig's 'Narnia: The Magician's Nephew' Rad that they're adapting Magicians Nephew instead of just The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe which always seems to be the starting point in adaptations. Magician's Nephew was my favorite one.
Gave Not Suitable for Work on Hulu a shot to support Will Angus from Almost Friday (incredible/hilarious YouTube shorts if not familiar). The bones of a new New Girl are there but holy shit are these some of the most unlikable characters meant to be sympathetic I’ve ever seen. My guys crushing it too but this thing is doomed.
Started Bob’s Burgers from the beginning and holy shit how is this show just straight bangers from the very start lol
